Crossing into Tibet via the Kyirong border, you will traverse the vast Tibetan plateau, witness the turquoise waters of Lake Mansarovar, and complete the sacred kora (circumambulation) of Mount Kailash, ascending to the Drolma La Pass at 5,630m. Along the way, encounter nomadic herders, ancient caves associated with the yogi Milarepa, and sweeping vistas that few travellers ever see.
