A remarkable overland pilgrimage to the sacred Mount Kailash and the holy waters of Lake Mansarovar. This journey combines high-altitude adventure, spiritual heritage, and some of the most dramatic landscapes on Earth. Crossing into Tibet via the Kyirong border, you will traverse the vast Tibetan plateau, witness the turquoise waters of Lake Mansarovar, and complete the sacred kora (circumambulation) of Mount Kailash, ascending to the Drolma La Pass at 5,630m. Along the way, encounter nomadic herders, ancient caves associated with the yogi Milarepa, and sweeping vistas that few travellers ever see.

Trip Itinerary
Syabrubesi to Kyirong (Kerung)
After breakfast, we depart for the Rasuwagadhi–Kyirong border crossing between Nepal and Tibet. The scenic drive takes approximately four hours, bringing us into Tibet and onward to the peaceful town of Kyirong (also spelled Gyirong), our first stop on the Tibetan plateau.
